DanceNZmade Levels:

Love: Long story short, we love that you are choosing DanceNZmade.

Understanding: We understand that you have your own unique style and that’s the reason your students come to you.

Enjoy: The work is there for you and your studio to dance and enjoy.

Privilege: It’s our privilege to be in your studio- should we have the opportunity of coming to adjudicate your levels we will judge what we see and celebrate how it’s performed.

Realistic: We are realistically expecting a blend of your style and our choreography, my students look like me because it’s all they know how, your students will look like you!

Shine: On the day – it’s all about the stars of your studio – we will ensure they shine!

Trust: Obviously. This is my business working with your business.

A Studio Registration Fee payable annually by 20th February – this cost enables us to have our syllabi videos online saving all of us syllabi DVD / booklet production costs and printing (and trees) all while allowing 24hr access to videos including in class checks – we know how it works – we teach it too! If we change something, there’s no reprints and recharging, we simply upload and advise you when we have done so giving you instant access.

It’s your choice:

• Teaching the work and presenting Levels within the year:

• $249 plus GST per year – with this cost is the expectation that you have students present Levels within the year.

• Teaching the work without presenting Levels:

• $499 plus GST – for those who wish to teach the work without presenting Levels.

Both registration fees allow:

• 24/7 multiple teacher (each with own password) access to videos

• Hip Hop, Performance, and Contemporary Levels syllabi

• Listing on DanceNZmade website with link to own studio website

Level Entry Fees:

Late Fee:
A charge of $15 is added to any entry received within 7 days of a studio’s presentations.

Cancellation Fee:
A charge of $15 for any cancellation within 7 days of a studio’s presentations.

Season:
Dates are flexible – Level Presentations can be booked at any time throughout the year – early bookings recommended to guarantee dates.

Closing Date:
As agreed between studios / DanceNZmade.

Level Presentation Dates:
As agreed between studios / DanceNZmade.

Dancer Presentation:
Dancers present their Levels in studio uniforms or a ‘light’ costume.

Dancers’ hair as for performance, light stage make-up optional.

Level Presentation Format:
Levels 1-5 should prepare to dance all pieces together if space allows, they can change rows over front to back if and when required. If the back row is reliant on the front row the adjudicator will be aware and run as are all the way through!

Level 6-9: As the level progresses dancers may be requested to dance in twos, threes and fours. The teacher can make requests here!

Level 10: Dances will be danced in twos.

Level 11-13: Dances will be performed as soloists (- if requiring pairs please request on the day and allow in timeframe.)

Stage Star Level Entry Fees:

• Stage Star Solos $29
• Stage Star Duos $19 per dancer
• Stage Star Trios $16 per dancer
• Stage Star Teams $55*

(*divide by number of dancers for per dancer fee)

Season:
Dates are flexible where we can be– Stage Star Level Presentations can be booked at any time throughout the year – normally completed at the same time as your Studio wide Levels - early bookings recommended to guarantee dates.

Closing Date:
As agreed between studios / DanceNZmade.

Level Presentation Dates:
As agreed between studios / DanceNZmade.

Dancer Presentation:
Dancer’s present as they would for Competition.

Timing:
These can go at the end of your Level Presentations or be interspersed. If a large number it’s ideal to split them into halves or thirds either by age / level or Solos, duos and then trios / groups.

Studios provide:

Morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea.
Airport transfers and transportation while on location.

Travel Contribution - where a visit to your studio has been booked after the year has started students may need to add this fee to their Level fee, ie Level 1-4 $45 plus Travel contribution $10- total $55. This will be discussed with studio directors at the time of booking- please ensure that this discussion takes place before you send information to your studio families.

A table and chair plus heating when necessary - please place table and chair to side as we stand to adjudicate.

Individual report sheets at the end of the Performance level presentations, or within two weeks of adjudicator returning home.

Individual certificates for all dancers produced upon Head Office receiving results from your Adjudicator.

Top dancer medals / certificates at each Level for each studio.


Top DNZM dancer medals / certificates at each Level across NZ.


Non-stop encouragement as we celebrate all that is your studio.

Optional ‘open work’ workshops by adjudicator- please let us know if you are interested and we’ll timetable them in.

Breakdown:

50% of any mark for completion.


25% of any mark for technique, placement, line, posture, extension.

25% of any mark for performance, musicality, personality, style, face.

Awards:

50-60 • Merit

61-70 • Commended


71-80 • Highly Commended

81-90 • Honours


91-99 • Honours with Distinction

100 • Stardom

Please note - Shoes are optional throughout performance- student’s choice.

Water bottles permitted.

Self-Timetabling

Let’s face it - you know your students and the availability of your studio spaces best. If you wish to submit your own timetable just let us know - we’ll help out where ever we can!

Please remember:

It helps us to have all dancers of the same level one performance after the next for example if you have three groups of Level 8 try to schedule them one after the other.

Double check arrival and departure of adjudicator - you may be a one off stop or part of a good old NZ Tour.
